    1) Redbus.in:
    Phanindra Sama and Charan Padmaraju are BITS Pilani alumni and founded the Redbus.in venture in 2006. In 2013 they sold the bus ticketing portal to Ibibo Group in 2013 for Rs. 600 crore, the biggest acquisition ever for Indian asset.

    2) TaxiforSure:
    Radhakrishna and Raghunandan G are IIM-Ahemdabad graduates launched the online venture in 2011 through which people could rent taxis. The cofounders expect their company to earn revenue of 100 crore by 2016.

    3) Snapdeal:
    Kunal Bahl was 25 when he left his job at Microsoft and joined with Rohit Bansal a fellow IIT-Delhi alumni and launched Snapdeal. Snapdeal is a online marketplace that boosts 20 million members.

    4) Bluegape:
    The journey of Bluegape began from the Hostel rooms of Sahil Baghla and Ashish Varshey with mere investment of 2 lakh. The business idea of Bluegape is to print personalized posters. The company soon started with merchandise like coffee mugs, laptop skins, cushion covers, Tshirts, etc.

    5) Make my trip:
    Makemytrip Inc. is an Indian online travel company that is headquarterd at Gurugram. Make my trip was found by Deea Karla, an alumni of IIM-Ahemdabad. The company also operates through 65 retail stores across 50 cities in India, along with international offices in New York City and Sydney.

    6) Naukri.com:
    Naukri.com, an online Job search portal was found in 1997. Sanjeev Bhikchandani, an alumnus of IIM-A quit his job at Hindustan MilkFood manufacturers (now Glaxo Smithkline) to start with the company.

    7) Rediff.com:
    Rediff.com is India’s one of the first search web portals. Rediff.com is an Indian news, information, entertainment and shopping web portal, founded in 1996. It was established by Ajit Balakrishnan who is an alumnus of IIM-Calcutta.

    8) Mastek:
    Mastek Limited is a multinational information technology services company headquartered in Mumbai, India. It is one of the oldest software companies in India. Mastek (Management and Software Technologies) was founded in May 1982[4]by Ashank Desai who is an alumnus of IIM-Ahemdabad.

    9) Flipkart:
    Flipkart, an e-commerce portal is started by Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal who both were alumni of IIT-Delhi. Flipkart is one of the strongest in the online business as of today.

    10) Ola Cabs:
    Ola Cab, an online cab aggregator was found by Bhavish Agarwal who is an alumnus of IIT-Bombay in 2010. Ola is valued at $5 billion as of September 2015.

The status of the degree too matters when it comes to funding of your startup. A research in 2014 claims that 60% of startups in India are headed by alumni of IIT or IIM graduates.

The #Flipkart founders seem to be unstoppable after the acquisition of Mynta as well as Jabong. Ironically these IIT Delhi graduates used to be ex-employees for Amazon. Sachin and Binny are worth Rs. 9010 crore each.

4) Kavin Bharti Mittal, 27:
