Rural Electrification is a process of bringing electrical power to rural and remote areas.Electricity is not only used for household purposes but it also allows mechanization of many farming operations, such as threshing, milking, hoisting grain for storage. A famous program New Deal’s Rural Electrification Administration in the United States pioneered many of the schemes still practiced in other countries.
