    Tips and Tricks

    • This recipe is for a cold, refreshing, and fresh salsa that can be made in an instant. But if you do not like the taste of the raw ingredients, then you can fry the salsa mixture. Simply pour 2 tablespoons of oil into a pan, let it heat up, and then add your salsa. Let the mixture come to a boil, then let it simmer for 5 minutes. This deepens the flavours and makes the salsa even more vibrant in colour. However, to keep the chunky and coarse ground texture obtained from the Atomberg Mixer Grinder, do not stir the salsa too much while it is in the pan.
    • Tomatoes being the main ingredients, this dish also contains sufficient tomato juice that makes it slightly of a liquid consistency. So, if you want a thicker and less liquid consistency, you can strain off some juice after making the salsa and use that flavourful juice in other recipes. Alternatively, you can also grind the tomatoes in Coarse Mode  separately and then strain the excess liquid off, then add the thicker tomato chunks to the rest of the ingredients.
    • The vegetables in salsa make it an excellent source of essential nutrients in a delicious way. It is low in calories and rich in fibre and vitamins, making it great for boosting your immunity. If you want to add even more complex flavours, then you can add even more vegetables like bell peppers, radishes, avocado, and even black beans.
A small mixer jar is enough to make a quick, fresh batch. However, if you want to pre-make a batch to eat whenever you want or need a large quantity, simply double or triple the quantities of the ingredients and use the Liquidising Jar provided with the Atomberg Mixer Grinder.
