Method of Preparation
- Take the Atomberg Mixer Grinder chutney jar and empty a small bowl of sprouts in it.
- Add a bowl of spinach leaves, 2-3 green chillies, onion and ginger.
- Close the lid of the jar, and the safety LED light turns blue when the jar is locked correctly (common to both MG1 and Zenova).
- Grind all the ingredients in the jar in Atomberg’s Coarse Mode to keep the mixture crunchy while eating.
- After opening the lid, empty the newly made mixture in a bowl with a spatula.
- After all the contents are in the bowl, add oats powder, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, dried pomegranate, and a spoon or 2 of your daily-use oil.
- Mix it properly and make it into a dough.
- Take small amounts of the dough and start making balls with your hands.
- Once the balls are made, keep them in the baking tray.
- Bake the sprout balls in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
- Take the tray out and look at the amazing protein-rich evening snack.
- Empty the balls one by one from the baking tray onto the serving plate.
- Serve it with a dip.
- Hoorah! Your evening snack is ready.
Tips & Tricks
These crispy sprout balls can also be eaten with pudina/ mint chutney. Here’s how to make it:
- Put a cup of duly rinsed mint/ pudina leaves in Atomberg’s 500-ml chutney jar.
- Add ¼ inch ginger, 1 small garlic clove and 1-2 green chillies.
- Now, top them up with ½ spoon of sugar and ⅓ teaspoon of salt.
- Add 1 teaspoon of thick chilled yoghurt.
- Grind until it’s fine enough to call it a smooth paste.
This chutney will surely enhance the taste of the crispy sprouts.
